Happy Month-iversary, Natalie!

I am convinced that time runs faster for new mothers. Especially in the middle of the night. Did Einstein forget to examine new mothers and time dilation in his theory of Special Relativity? It seems like it was just days ago that Natalie was born (quite unexpectedly too, I might add) and now, our beautiful baby girl is already one month old and outgrowing some of her newborn sleepers!

So what has little Natalie aka Poopy Pants/Chubby Cheeks been up to? Well, she's mastered various forms of feeding: sipping from a little cup, nursing, and feeding from a bottle. Yes, she is a multi-talented sucker, if I do say so myself :-) Natalie's been feeding pretty consistently at two hour intervals, and has grown from about 5 and a half pounds to almost 9 pounds. That's a gain of about 3 pounds, or roughly 1 kg in one month! All in all, things have been just dandy in Natalie's first month. I can't wait for all the milestones in the coming weeks.

Oh, and how is Mommy coping? Well, sleep has been scarce but I'm thoroughly enjoying the time that I have with Natalie. When I'm feeling tired, I simply hug and squeeze and kiss her and I'm fully recharged...until the next feeding/diaper change.

Little Miss Piggy and her mum & dad are so cute! Love the ticker tape... but let's not remind you of teaching physics!
